THE 3rd BIDBF - 2009 The 3rd Boracay International Dragon Boat Festival will be held on April 30, May 1 & 2, 2009. Inspite of the global recession, rowers from around the region and all over the philippines made their way to Boracay to participate in this exciting event. Thousands of tourists watched the races daily as rowers fiercely paddled for the gold in a spectacular show of teamwork, camaraderie, strength, and power in 500-meter and 300 meter-races. The 3rd BORACAY INTERNATIONAL DRAGON BOAT FESTIVAL was made possible by the Department of Tourism and our corporate sponsors, ie Havaiians, SMART, Zestair, Yellow Cab, Zesto, Coppertone, Del Monte, Malayan Insurance, Boracay Regency Beach Resort and Convention Center and the entire Boracay community whose continuous support made this tear's event possible.
